Overview

There are five steps to create a new evaluation.

  1. Define the engagement
  2. Set the survey open and close dates
  3. Configure the type of evaluation
  4. Optionally weight the questions (or deselect)
  5. Add the participants

Get started

Click the NEW EVALUATION button on the Home page.

Define the engagement

An engagement is a project or time period for which you want to measure the performance of the supplier. As examples, you may want to run a pulse check during a project, a wrap-up survey at the end of an engagement, or collect information for all work performed of a specific time period (e.g. last quarter).

  1. Enter the client and supplier names.
  2. Do you work on the client or supplier side?
  3. Select the type of service provided.
  4. Enter the engagement name.

Click the -> Next button to save the engagement details.

Set the survey open and close dates

Set the key dates you want the survey to run for. Email notifications are sent to your participants notifying them that the survey is open and closed. They will also receive email reminders if they have not submitted feedback.

  1. Select the open date (opens at 9am that day)
  2. Select the close date (closes at 5pm that day)
  3. Select the time zone

Click the -> Next button to save the survey timeline.

Configure the type of evaluation

There are four types of evaluations you can run. You can view the evaluation type options by clicking the View Evaluation Types link.

  1. Select the type of Evaluation you want to run (i.e. Net Promoter, Basic, Standard, Advanced or Professional). 
  2. If you select Professional you will also select what type of supplier feedback you would like to collect.
  3. For Standard and Professional evaluation, select the question set the respondents will rate on.
You can see the actual questions for each of the question sets by clicking the View Rating Templates link.

Click the -> Next button to save the your evaluation configuration.

 
Select and weight the questions.

For the Basic, Standard and Professional evaluation types, you can optionally choose to deselect questions you want your respondents to rate on. You can also optionally choose to alter the importance weighting for each questions.

  1. Use the checkbox to deselect questions.
  2. Update the importance weighting for questions. The total importance must be 100% to save and continue - this is shown at the bottom of the page.

Click the -> Next button to save any changes to questions and their importance.

 
Add the participants

Enter the details for each participant. You can also copy-and-paste the list from an application like Excel or Google Sheets.

  1. Add each email address.
  2. Make sure you click hit the Enter key after each participant.
  3. If you select the Professional evaluation type and Supplier-on-Client or Client Self-assessment, you will also enter email addresses for the supplier participants.

Click the -> Next button to save the list of participants.

Congratulations!!!

You have successfully created the evaluation. The next step is that you will receive an email that allows you to test the survey.
